Subject: "You'll have a reason this year"
Friday and Smith, with a little help from a reformed con man running a baby laundry, track down some "obituary racket" fraudsters.

Essentially this is the scam: The offenders would watch newspaper reports of deaths such as overseas soldiers and then visit the relatives. There they would claim that the deceased had purchased an expensive item (pen, watch, etc.) on credit and guilt them into paying for it. The item itself would be cheap trash.

After some pavement pounding, and a near miss, they get their men.

Subject: Who Uploaded this, anyway?
I don't know who uploaded this, but anyway, it is FUN to watch, PLEASANT to enjoy, and DEPRESSING in the sense that over 50 years later, these kind of crimes still happen.

Nevertheless, it is an enjoyable example of 1950's American TV-Drama.

Subject: Drag Net
I miss the old Drag Net shows. They are simple and straight forward, and drawn from the files of the L. A. Police Department.
This is fun for old guys like me.
